    Harley sells MV Agusta

Harley-Davidson has sold MV Agusta back to former owner and chairman Claudio Castiglioni, just two years after buying the company.

The sale forms part of cost-cutting measures by Harley-Davidson, who have already closed down Buell, proposed closing their largest manufacturing plant and is also considering moving from it’s home of over 100 years in Milwaukee.

The V rod engine was designed and developed by Porsche, its a leftover relic which powered the VR1000 superbike in the mid 1990's
