Stupid question. Site ranks?

Hey all, Sorry if this is a bit .. retarded
But I was curious how the forum ranks ect work,
For example mine says scooter boy and has one Green bar, im asuming the little star is good rep,
But was wondering if anybody could just tell me whats what ect.

Im wondering does a users bling title reflect the number of posts or the ammount of bling? According to what i can ascertain from FAQ I should be a whore by now, but Im still splendid to behold...

Its an ego thing.

The "bling" title which you see when hovering over the rep squares relates to the user's rep level. The rep title point levels were adjusted a while back, as pretty well everyone was a "green bling whore". I don't think the FAQ was updated to match.

I think the level for green bling whore is now around 35,000.
