I have at some or other time purchased gear form most of the recommendations posted here - and they all did the job they were intended for and considering the price paid.

Generally leather is the way to go but again it depends on your ride.

Check out combos or offers that some of these places may have. If you only have a helmet at the mo then you need a whole lot more gear including boots.

As has been already posted, there is a stockist of his products here in Auckland with some examples of his gear but most is specifically ordered to your requirements. It's a hard task keeping everything that could be required in stock AND still remain very competitively priced. I would suggest you send a pm to vtec on here (Auckland stockist) and arrange with him to see the gear...like I said his gear is very good quality and reasonably priced too. He's my sponsor and I've personally crashed in his gear racing 3 times and walked away with mainly bruises. He uses top quality stitching and 'knox' armor.

I would only ever recommend leather as I believe it is better to err on the safer side and leather out performs textiles every time.

That is such a sad thing to do. Personally i would doubt they are going to be of much benefit when ya crash. They are for gardening not motorcycles.
Had a mate of mine used to wear riggers gloves. He got spat off on the west coast and nearly lost all his knuckle bones.

They are not for crashing in, they are for keeping my hands warm in winter.

Try the rev it gear out at motomail if Quasi can't sort ya out, it's got the right shape for women (at least their woman's stuff does) which is pretty important. Quality seems ok too. It's what my mrs wears.

wet = get one of those big yellow rainsuit thingees

though personally i have a set of leathers and a set of textile gear for dodgy looking days, but only cos i commute on my bike - if i were just a fun times rider i'd stick to leather only

Quasi would be out of business if his gear wasn't good.

Its a shame really. Because his gear is so good, I can't harass him about his business.
