Just bought a set of Quasi's new Black Rock gear (Jacket and Pants)- couldn't be happier.

Great advice - very trusting (couriered the gear before the funds actually arrived in his bank) - and super quick service. Like the OP - I really feel I should have paid much more after comparing the price of what I bought with what I've seen in the shops.

I did quite a but of research, went to the shops, looked on TradeMe etc etc.

Yep agree,I stole(cheap as) a cordura jacket off Brett last moto trackday,let me take it although I did give him my visa number,although have dealt with him befor.

Well I finally received my jacket today.

I am impressed with the quality and fit (Although being a custom made it should fit)
Unfortunately it took a fair while to get completed due to supplier issues that were outside of Qmotos control.

One thing I miss is a belt loop to attach to jeans (maybe I should have asked for one??) other than that I love it.

Would I use them again? Yip, but I would definitely lose some of the excess kilos I am carrying so I can fit into a standard size they supply.

The only downside that I had, is that I had to chase them for updates. They were quick to reply to my emails, but a friendly "We haven't forgotten about you" email would have been great.

Now to go back and inhale some more new leather smell.....

Get some sno seal to go on it. Good to stop it drying out and help to waterproof it a little.
