last time he rode one of my bikes at the TRRS he came home in first place lying on the tank trying to keep the frount wheel from sliding across the track

that was a wet race with tt900 on I think in the old frame

he is one of the lest known riders at Mt Wellington but he should be up near the frount on a resonable bike if he want to ride it (not at the frount but up near it)

He jumps on Av's RS125 once and a while. I didn't know he could ride quite well!

So Ellen, you don't need another bike?[/QUOTE]

I am riding in the F5 GP and in the F4 GP. Steve is letting me have the RX for the F4.
He's going to ride the Impulse 400 in pre-89 and I'm suppose to ride the F5 in the races on the Tuesday. Not sure I want to fold myself up on the F5 for that long. The GP will be bad enough.

Oh well. First post on this thread. And there's a reason for that. I can't make it this year.. We are due another a few weeks before & I can't really leave the lass alone with a 18mth old & a newborn. I've tried to look at flying up etc but nothing works.

So I've made my final decision. One not taken lightly as I've raced the F5 GP 22 years consecutively. No one else has done that many Bucket GPs & esp in a row.

So have fun guys & hopefully my bike will do ok, I'm trying to get it up there so someone can ride it, which I think I've sorted.

    Next year.

22 years in a row, that's an awesome effort.

Perhaps you can bring the family with you?

    p.s. There is a reason I don't have kids.

Aside from the fact that your wife doesn't want to ruin her perfect figure by having kids!

hehehe Trudes, no wonder I like you. I'm just too selfish to bother with a kid thing and if it turned out like me, I'd kill it (or even if it didn't). Plus I'd hate to be sober for nine months hahaha

Dave, you may have the record for the most consecutive GPs, but I equal your 22 total, its just that mine have taken me 24 years, as I missed 2 due to reasonably severe injuries (broken back last year & multiple other broken bones in 1991). So only 18 of mine are consecutive, but assuming I make it this year, that will make 23 for me.

Shame you won't be there as I'm long overdue to beat you at Taupo! Anyway, hope the family extension works out well.
