Ok, so I thought I would track my progress on this little puppy, god forbid i screw things up haha,
But the plan is to make a custom one off front mud guard for my CBR, im not looking to copy the original but to keep the shape, and extend and slim ect just a whole new look realy,
Im going to make it out of fiberglass but I was thinking of laying a few finishing layers of carbon fiber just for looks, Im yet to do some research into this though.
I started off by making a box using some messurements i took and changed, off the top of my head it was like, 550mm long X 250mm Wide X 200mm high, of corse its not gonna be that big once everything is shaped ect, but I contunied to fill the box with Expanding foam (pollyfiller) so far I have used 3 700g Cans, and I think I may just need one more to fill my requirments, ill post my progress on here, in the mean time here are some photos :]
P.S - I have only ever fiber glassed once in my life, so dont judge :]
