Who can whip up a couple of brackets for a belly pan?

I have got the belly pan, undertail and hugger back from paint and now have to fit them up. It's gonna look sweeet

There are no brackets for the belly pan, and I need an indicator bracket for the tail tidy.

It's only really a 15 minute job I spose.

Is there anyone in the Hutt who could help me bolt it together?

Speaking as someone who on occasions helps out with things like this, it's always more attractive to take on a job like this when the owner is realistic about how much work is actually involved. In 15 minutes I could probably cut a little metal strip, drill some off centre holes, and then fuck your new paint.

A relatively easy job it is, a 15 minute one it is not... not least of which is because you've broken the first rule... don't finish (i.e. paint) anything until you've test fitted it.

That's cool, you just have to make it a more attractive carrot to dangle

Another good way of doing that would be to get some cardboard and make up some templates. Always more fun to help someone who's helping themselves

Mind you, once you've done that, it's just a wee trip to a Bunnings, drill drill, chop chop, and you'd be done.

Just made up my own brackets and made templates out of some thin stuff I had then transferred it to some more substantial material. It is a fiddly thing to do, but sorry stig I did it before my paint work was done. Good luck.

anything worth doing cant be done in 15 mins.........

i made a little bracket to hold the front fairing on. its like 1 bit of metal strip. 4 holes and a couple of bolts. bye bye 90 mins!

anyhow.. just do it! its easier to start from scratch that modify something

Got to agree with the rest here. My home made tail tidy would have cost me about 3 hours including the fit BEFORE PAINT then painting and final fit........If I was in the Hutt I would gladly lend a hand but alas I am not ...I just like that sort of shit and I have have plenty of alloy plate lying around
