    Tyre pressure for track days?

So the last and first time I went to the track I ran normal road pressures - 36F/42R

How much lower should I look at dropping them for optimum grip?

    Cheers,

on my Honda Hornet (similar weight and tyre size, less performance) from memory (Diablo Corsa SC) it was something like 28F and 26R (cold)

I would then take the hot temp, and if they were round the 32 to 34 they were about right.

But what do I know..... the only time I fell off that bike was at a trackday.

though that was more about running out of talent than it was running out of tyres.....

Haha, nice... We'll I'll give 30/30 a go for starters and see how that feels... Won't change the fact I'll be slow as hell.
