1981 Yamaha XV 750

hi there,
am just wandering if somebody doesn't have a spare gears for starter clutch/bendix including spring for my virago. My ones still work but idle gear is pretty worn out.
any ideas where to get it from?

Last time I got a gear & spring for a customer was years ago - don't know if they're still available.
The gear can be built up and recut though - several places round NZ capable of that.
A contact of mine in the US reckons he's solved the XV starter problem - an extra 6V battery and 18V to the starter..... says it's magic.

I bought dry battery what is made for big blocks harleys and bmw, it has 20% more cranking power and it does help a lot!! but I will still need to buy the part I guess but yamaha shop will supply them as i found out. just have to save up )
