Brought home my own little earthquake survivor

After the recent loss of Mac my Border Collie another dog was far from my mind but whilst up in Christchurch today checking up on how my old mums fairing i decided to go check out this little guy who was in desperate need of a home, who did i think i was kidding and sure enough into the ute he went and is happily ensconced (spelling) in my home, seems to love chewing work boots and ruining gardens, has learnt the first lesson in life "a cute face doesnt mean everybody loves you" and got a swipe from the catAll good and amazing how this little pup fills the huge gap left behind by Mac in our household.

awwwww, he is just so cute.
How good of you to give him a home on solid ground. All the best , you two are in for many, many wonderful adventures and lots of fun.
Just remember when he shakes and he's wet and dirty, it's not pretty.

Mate the cat loved old Mac (a border collie) but Mac really didnt give a toss for him,so far the cat wants nothing to do with this guy, probably something to do with him running as fast as his little pins will let him then leaping onto the cat methinks.

after only owning two dogs, i learnt on the first one, stimulate them lots. Heaps of physcial so they're so puffed out they're can't be naughty. Loads of 'their' toys and a hell of a lot of training!

Cute little guy - beautifully marked. I have one similar, except he's about 3 months older, has one blue and one brown eye, and is going through his gangly, no-coat, all legs, fugly stage.

They do agility very well might be worth a crack if you have time! Sams ok!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Funny i should read this....was just scouting the local rag to see if there was any Border Collies myself.
Gotta love those dogs. got a German short haired pointer that sometimes points in the wrong direction, but real good natured.
Still keeping my eye out for good looking Collie though.
Would rather do what you did and rescue him rather than buy one. Got my previous dog from the SPCA as i figured a would rather help a homeless one than give someone money for beers or whatever.
    Sam's cool!
    Trumpydom!
