WTB: $10k Yamaha R6 or similar

OK everybody, do you know of anyone selling a R6 or similar (late model 600cc) sportbike?

I have a friend who just sold his bike, so now I need to help find him a new one so i've got someone to blast around with this summer.

Strangely enough, when I went to buy coffee this morning, the barista (an ex-biker and M/C courier) asked me about the R6, as he had a line on a good '99 for $8K. Dunno where, though. Perhaps I could find out, if 1999's not too old?

That would be great if you could. I think the buyer would be looking for anything 1998 or newer.
