The Professionals - nobody made such brilliant low budget shows as the Brits.

I remember one show where a scene called for an XJ6 to go over a bank and explode - just like a big-budget Yank show.
They obviously could only afford one car because as it tipped over the bank the passenger's head fell off.....

That one kicked ass. Loved that car, although I was sure it was a VW chassis with a fibre body on it.

    How bout them 80's classics:

    10 Speed and Brownshoe
Rip Tide - (had a robot and bikini-clad blondes in it)
    Kate & Ally
Full House (back when Mary-Kate & Ashley had an ounce of fat between them)

    and the piste d'resistance.....

    BJ and the Bear!!!

    "Graffity Crimes"

    "Carbon Copy People"

Aah, Mi Sex, one of NZ's top bands. Saddly missed.

Don't forget "Don't Give Me Culture" by The Knobs.

Are the late 70's - early 80's a great time for NZ music

Mi-sex was my first live show - at the Invercargill Civic Theatre.
The place was packed and I got one of the last tickets right at the top and right at the back.
DD Smash - Cool Bananas. Saw that tour live at the Waikiwi Tavern also in Invercargill. Fantastic.
I thought he went off the rails (musically) after that. Aahh nostalgia.

Old TV shows...hmmmm...Z Cars, The Avengers, Morecombe & Wise, Dr Who, Happy Days. English comedy shows like Open All Hours, Porridge, Steptoe & Son, 'Ello 'Ello, always better than anything out of the States. Then there was crap such as Hi-de-hi, On The Buses, I Love Lucy, Beverley Hillbillies.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You got any tapes/recordings - know where I can get them??

There were 2 cars - one a modified delorean and the other a manta ray.... it was an expensive job - they probably had deep pockets.

The first pic is the manta - the later car and the second the modified delorean from the earlier seasons.
