    Paint vs powdercoat

Swing arm and rearsets on my monster.

I want a satin black finish without much gloss. Any suggestions?

    I'm a spraypainter, but I'd also recommend powder-coating for durability/cost etc.

Paint is more versatile (colours/finishes) and can be made to stick well, but it's time/material consuming and costly.

Powder coat if you know you can get bearings out and in again without damage and find something to plug the holes. Masking tape wrapped around a bolt usually does the trick.

Paint. 2k enamel. Tough as all hell and wont come off in big chunks when it gets chipped like powder does.
