    Yeehaa, Yippee, Yay, Woohoo

The cast is off!!! Now I know what my hand will look like when I'm old and crusty! Bring on the extra super dooper strength moisturiser!

Funny thing when I drove down to get the cast taken off, I didn't consider how limp wristed I would be when having to drive back.

So watch out everybody, as soon as I get some strength back in my hand I'll be out and about on my beast again!!!!

If its at your expense then I'm afraid it's champagne and cocktails. Or the red wine I've started stockpiling in the event that Mitch comes to visit!

Please look after yourself better in future
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Doesn't it look horrible. I had two hands like that after the plaster and pins were out. Takes a few days for the dry skin to clear up.

Unfortunately it takes a bit of time to build up the strength in the hands and wrists (take it you've been referred to a physio?). I was able to ride the bike after a week and a half but only for a short time. Mind you I'd buggered both hands so you might be a bit quicker.

Good luck!! Hope you can get back on the mighty SV asap.

hmmmmm... how to build up your wrist muscles... gee.. wouldn't know..

Well glad it's finally off. Take it easy for now (altho you of all people would know that!), and hope it comes right real soon
Least you can get back to the normal stuff like having a shower without having to cover it up!

Lifting weights should do the trick.
Start with small things like shots, move on to glasses of wine and before long you'll be lifting pints. Then it'll be your legs that are weak...

I dropped a mate off at his folks when we were young and he underestimated the power of a bottle of sherry... Bastard threw up all over me... Anyway we hauled his sorry arse home and I knocked on the door.. His old man laughed his head off... "Hi Mr XXXXX. Um *** ate something at the party and he does not feel so good" His old man laughed even more and told us they would sort it out!

Popped me mate into a warm bath and left him to it!

*** woke up about 3 hours later, water was FREEZING cold and apparently he had gone number 2's and a little log was bobbing past his nose... Bloody hell... It was a while before he had another drink I can tell you!
