Hi guys. Any chance of a show of hands as to who has signed up for Hampton Downs so far? I'm a bit concerned that some of the entries may have gone AWOL. The club treasurer is under the impression that only one F4 entry for Hampton Downs has been received. But I'm personally aware of at least 3 entries that were sent in over a week ago. If I can get some idea of who has signed up, then I can follow it up.

And for those of you who are going, but haven't sent in your form yet ... do it now!

And my sincerest thanks to Henk and Grant who helped me get my FXR moving again at Roy's Hill after my recent brush with the asphalt.

I've sent in my entry (via email of scanned docs) for Hampton Downs and paid online. The young bro' says he has too.

I love racing the full sized tracks. Would be great to have heaps of buckets. How can we dominate racing in NZ if we don't show up? Buckets should be invited to all NZ races on full-sized tracks IMHO - that won't happen if we don't show up when given the chance.

Chambers and TeeZee are taking their entrys to the Club this Thursday night, Buckets4me is out because of injury, NedKelly is sitting on the fence, work commitments may intrude but we are twisting his arm to make sure he will be there.

We have one of our old original GP125's that is still going and would be happy to loan to someone wanting a fun ride at HD. PM me............

Hopefully I can make it. I have been really busy on a large project that has consumed my life for at least the last few months. Even had to work the last bucket meeting. Will really try to make it but i am commissioning some equipment in the Waikato and if it does no go to plan I maybe there the weekend of HD. I will hold my entry and enter on the day if I make it. Fingers crossed.

Thanks guys. I'll check up on all our entries shortly. I'm sure there will be no problem. I'm really looking forward to a taste of those wide open spaces. My bike's in bits at the moment, but the process of getting her back together in time for Sunday week is under way. Fingers crossed. See you there. Tim

    Hi Fixer

Any idea of numbers for F4 and the other classes?

As of 9am this morning, there were 72 entries over all and enough F4s to make a class (must be at least 6 I think). I'm expecting at least 7 F4s with another 2 or 3 that I know of who might make a last-minute appearance. Entries on the day are accepted, so if the weather's good the numbers could be inflated quite a bit at the last minute. Not sure about Streetstock150s and 250Lights. Hopefully there will be as many of them as there are of us and we get a field of at least 15 in our races. I'm really looking forward to seeing how we qualify against the other guys. If I find out anything more concrete, which i might since I'm restocking the bar at the club tomorrow night. I'll let you know.

I hope not. Goo would make the track rather slippery

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Cheers Ray you did well getting any pics with the weather . The track was grippy in the wet with wets but the second race was scary on the second lap on slicks and the rain getting heavy ! after I got such a good start I was gutted to have to let them by ..Bloody expensive 2 races!!
