    Go to a Honda dealer.

    Buy a new one.

Hell, thanks, I did not realise that Honda dealers sold Hondas! And brand new ones too, wow! I also didn't realise that they were still selling brand new 2003 models. Bloody amazing! You find out so many useful things on this site where people have nothing better to do than make comments on other peoples genuine interest in something. I would buy a new one if I had a bit more money, hence I'm looking for a secondhand one.

Thanks, been there, doing that. If someone actually has one for sale, I'm sure they would let me know how much they are after for it, most people have a general idea of how much their bike is worth.

It is a genuine response. Have you spoken to a dealer or are you assuming that they are not going to be able to find something you're after in your price range?

For the record, those who want to be sarcastic bitches should probably let people know what price range that they are looking at before going postal. Devil pointed that out and you didn't respond.

    So go to hell.

My point really is, unless you actually have one and want to sell it, piss off and find yourself something better to do.

No worries - I'll stop trying to jack up bikes and test rides through Sawyers for you then.

    New CB's are $10995 now!!
You should beable to find a s/hand one pretty easy, there are plenty on the roads.
    Great bikes too!!
My flat mate has one, and loves it!!
Fast, cumfy, reliable, looks good, wheelies good , good handling, good brakes..
    the list goes on.
If ya need any help with finding one, let me know.

Thanks Sparky Bills, yep the price on the new ones is good, but was hoping I could get one that is a bit preloved and a bit cheaper so that I don't have to finance any, and yep there are a few secondhand 2005 models out there. So yeah, as you understand, I am putting feelers out just to see what is about and trying all avenues. i see someone sold a 2005 one on Trademe for $8650, so they are about without having to break the bank! Thanks for the positive feedback and the offer.

Try to get a 04 or newer.
The 03 models dont have adjustable shocks, and makes setting up a pain in the ass!
$8000 for an 05! Thats a great deal!
Just dont rush in too fast to the first one you see. Take your time and im sure something will pop up.

Preload on the front came in for the '05 didnt it?
Had preload on the rear, but minimal adjustment otherwise...

I'll be buying myself a brand new one for my bday.

So the 05 might handle a wee bit better?
The 03 was decidedly weak in the suspension stakes.

The '04 has adjustable suspenders either end. Both preload and rebound damping. You can fiddle about for hours if that's what turns your crank.

There is bugger all difference between that and the '05, the brake housings and some engine casings are different colours.

That $10,995 is $2,000 off what was the normal price.
Me, I'd buy a new one. Oh! That's right, I did.
