Figured it was about time I tried this posting stuff. Just got into riding, really because I was fed up with paying so much for gas

and wanted a cheaper way to travel around West Auckland. Anyway I did my Confident Rider course today with Riderskills, great ride learned so much, boy the basic handling skills is just not enough. Think I will be spending more time in the ranges than commuting from now on!

Good on ya mate, plenty of good roads out your way! Take it easy, read lots about the art of proficient motorcycling ... and keep it safe!

Thanks all, I certainly am reading and learning all I can! and yes I am a westie now (a pom really) and a very mature student! hopefully that will give me plenty of days off in the summer to ride
