And to be done for excessive acceleration (as some call it) all you have to do is accelerate hard - and commit another offence, i.e. breaking the speed limit will do.

Like accelerating hard to fit into a tight gap during rush hour traffic and having an expired vehicle licence?

Nah, it would have to be an actual driving/riding offence...but I've been known to be wrong...

I wonder how the cop would decide what would be excessive in terms of accelerating too hard. A GN125 would have to be ridden hard to fit into a tight gap in traffic whereas an R1 would just have to be cruising gently to do the same thing.

Speed differential to other traffic maybe? Dunno it sounds trickier as you question it

These reality shows such as the police one in question and MAF, border control etc, do nothing for the departments or enforcement concerned!

Almost every one of them leaves me feeling that we are being "protected" by a bunch of bloody idiots!

But then again I am inclined to be a bit black and white but crushing the bloody car means just give them time to get out of it and it's as good as done!

All these shows just illustrate how limp wristed our enforcements really are!

If the law says cars will be crushed, don't pussy foot around, "CRUSH THEIR FUCKING CARS"!

Set some tangible boundaries that the public can rely upon!

jezz us christ... use ya swead, like a cop would, in this case the punjab was RACING another car, what the cop saw was obviously a stupid move which he decided to take action against, just maybe this cop has let the guy away in the past and considered enough is enough... ya dont know the full story just what the TV show wants you to see, they want just what they got... back chat.
