    Parking up for a while

Bikes a 1990 Bandit 250, wont be riding her for about 6 months, wanted to ask you knowledgeable chaps whats the best way to store it??

I've just had the carbs rebuilt and I put a new chain and sprockets on along with some new sparks recently. She's running mint (only 16,000 on clock too) and I don't want all that to go to pot for when I start riding again in 6 months.

What to do what to do??

Six months isn't that long. If drain everything you risk oxidisation. I'd just fill the talk to the brim with the high octane stuff and idle with fuel off to drain the carbs.

There are some additives you can stick in the fuel, but I wouldn't bother for such a short time.

I will be interested to read the 'better' advice as it's something I mught have to do if I move abroad for a while.

    Good luck.
