    MR in Wellington 4th & 5th June '05

I'll be catching the bus in a few hours to come down to Wellington in. I'll be there from tomorrow morning till Sunday evening till I catch the bus back to Auckland again.

I am already catching up with a few mates there but if any of you Welly people wana meet up with me between these times, let me know as I should have most of my time there pretty free. I obviously can't go for a ride as I will only be bringing my push bike for transport, in the bus.

    021 155 9376.

    Cheers, Sudeep.

I never got hold of a PC after I put up the message so I didn't see your post until now Sparky. Doesn't matter, there will be other times.

Caught the bus at 7:50PM Fri night and arrived into the capital at 7:30AM Saturday morning (12 bloody hours cause the desert road was closed!).

After getting into Welly, I reassembeled my push bike and had a look around down town Wellington on the back wheel of my push bike. I even saw the bee hive for the first time and went for some wheelie sessions right inside the court yard. Since I didn't see any national security guards rushing after me as I imagined, I got boared and checked out the Te papa Musium and a few other places.

Then I caught up with Jimmy which was bloody good. After hanging out with the trash man on Saturday, I met up with some other good mates on Sunday afternoon before catching the Bus back in the evening.

All in all, Wellington is a pretty cool place. It's a lot smaller than what I had imagined it to be but I guess quality is more important than quantity, so I liked the place.

Cheers Jimmy for everything, I had a real cool weekend!
