I don't see a problem with enjoying yourself at home. So it occassionally results in an accident and ACC claim. But at least it was fun.....

    10% Gets the Clout

In the NZ Hearld it was reported that 'home' accidents....that's accidents which don't attract any form of ACC levy.....cost ACC $664 million!

If memory serves, bikers cost the system $64 million, less than 10% of home accident costs.

So here's a small group...we bikers...attracting a massive levy, yet those who cost the system ten times as much pay nothing.

    Why is that?
    Only 'Now' exists in reality.

Because they can not be directly taxed, I mean charged. There is no specific ACC levy paid by home owners. Though at least one of them is normally working and paying taxes

Shit happens - that's why it is called an Accident. I do however think they should look seriously at some of the 'accidents' and stop paying for stupidity.

I may be wrong - as I have not done it, by if I get my dick stuck in the end of the vacuum cleaner any resulting damage etc may be paid by ACC.

If I am wearing some of those stupid pants some young men wear - you know the ones that hang down to their knees and the belt tightens up under their arses - if I'm wearing them and fall over due to the restricted movement and smash my knee, ACC will pay out for it.

And if I ride my motorcycle in my swim suit (settle down girls) and fall off, ACC will pay out for skin grafts etc.

And don't bother about wanking on about personal rights to fuck or wear what you like, personal rights to do as you see fit have long gone and I'm sick of paying for idiots.

There is a levy in your PAYE for ACC that covers you for any accident you have during you private, recreation and including driving, riding, sport blah blah blah...
