Mate - better heads than mine have had a go at finding the Zeitgeist.
Robert Hughes - The Australian art critic for the New York times once described the artist as one who builds a bridge between two previously unconnected ideas.
Andy Warhol said 'Art is anything you can get away with.'
The physiologists point to hemispherical dominance in the brain.
Maybe in some cases it's drugs.
His critics said Warhol was the only 'genius' they knew with an IQ of 80. I admire what he 'got away with'.

I find i don't 'have' to think 'continually' outside the square, my spark is a love of the absurd and the quest to spot it comes quite naturally.
But are you implying i act and dress differently to any other large, hairy leathered up biker?

full time student during student times, and shit shifter (aka labourer, site technician, garbeologist etc) for a residential housing company in any free time.

And when working, I don't need my brain, so I can think up fanciful names for myself. ooh, also "cheap labour for anything that can't be done another way"

That has to be one of the funniest things I've read yet. Think I'm gonna add it to the Quotes thread.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I'm jealous - all you guys have such interesting jobs. Where did I go wrong? :spudwhat:

Must've been when I was still at school...

Well, it's all likely to change soon, when they fire me for spending all day on KB...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Mikey, lay off that "shit" before attempting to type on your keyboard!

I am a factory supervisor at one of the fence/nail/mesh making factories in east Tamaki.

I am a qualified metallurgist (BSc@uni), specialising in Aluminium, back in SA I was working at one of the Aluminium Smelters. Have been offered a position at Comalco, but wife refuses to move to Invercargill!
