Some people can be so callous

Just picked up the paper at lunchtime and saw that nasty pic of that poor guy that died after he hit the tractor on his T***** bike.

A person at my work leans over and looks at the picture....

He says "you must be glad you're riding a Guzzi, his bike was obviously crap"
Told him to not disrespect riders that have died in a crash
He says "Ah doesn't matter he's dead now anyway"
...I walked away before I decked him.....

"...you meet the weirdest people riding a Guzzi !!..."

The paper says his name was Julian Budd. Condolences to his family and friends.

You're a lover not a fighter anyway arencha Nudey? Well done for not calling me to Hulk out on him though if you can appraise me of his address I shall quietly send him a little message.

AND ACTUALLY - WHY THE NEED FOR THE PHOTO ANYWAY???!!!!

I am sick to death of the media thinking we need or want to see dead bodies being carted away, or lying on roads, or aftermaths of accidents...seriously what VALUE does it add anyway?! AND in this case the showing of the number plate irks the shit out of me whether the name is released or not argh

That does suck big time..... but alittle off topic here, I hate the way it's reported "High Powered Motorcycle hits back of tractor" and Police would like to speak to any one who saw the bike before the crash!...

To me just sounds already a little negative towards the biker... whats the first thing that comes to mind when you read that, biker more than likely at fault?

    Meh.

Individual perception of empathy and humour is just that - individual.

You can guarantee that if the biker had been riding a Harley, many people here would be gleefully pissing themselves over it (especially as it involved a collision with a tractor...).

I can recall about a year ago when an Asian lady was killed in a Jet Boating accident - there was a thread on here dedicated to jokes about it.

Bikers don't have any more empathy than anyone else - except when it suits them.

I can't understand how anyone can find death funny - family and friends are suffering because of the loss of a loved one, and I don't see why anyone would take the piss

Maybe seeing images of mutilated corpses will encourage people to slow down and drive/ride more carefully after seeing the potential effects of high velocity collisions.

If you think that's bad, then check out www.bestgore.com

If you don't like what the media presents, then don't look at it.
