Well I am certain to be there now. I have pretty much finished my bike to a level I am satisfied with for now. Still needs a few more hours of work but it is good enough for now.

The new carb makes a massive massive difference but needs a little bit of tweaking to be perfect.

Photos are attached BUT it isn't finished. It needs the Rizla stickers and numbers attached. A bit try hard, but if I can't afford the real deal then I want my own version of a MotoGP bike (just scaled down a bit and mostly just shitter all round).

Yes it does look a lot like his. Didn't want to copy it, but it's what I wanted so I did it. Didn't want to paint it yellow to be different when I wouldn't like it!

    Looks good.
Also looks like you have done the same thing as me with the front crash bungs by driling through the small frame stubs and running a bolt through. You may want to drill a couple of holes higher and run a length of 8mm threaded bar all the way through the round tube in front of the engine, with mine I have found that the bolts bend and the short square sections the crash bungs are bolted to start to twist and deform when I crash if the bike goes off track and into the grass.
I need to change mine but haven't got around to it yet.

Yeah I looked at doing that but I decided against it. I figured that threaded bar is reasonably expensive and I wasn't keen on bending it in my first crash! Also it's good to hear that you have done what I have done before. I will reinforce where I have mounted them now. Yeah the bolts do bend when you tighten them up but I know how to fix that.... but I will do it later haha. Cheers!

Let me know how you get on post mod and first crash. I can't see a way to make it work properly.

If anyone has any old FXR front break pads lying around can they please bring them along today. Mine might not last the day or even practice. Cheers Rich.

Indeed, thanks for spending a wet cold afternoon flagging for us Hels and Tex! Nice to see a few spectators also!

I had a good day just mucking about and practicing trying to grow a set of balls and not break so much and go faster around corners, didn't do so well with the right-handers but certainly felt a bit happier with the speed I was carrying around the far corner going anti-clockwise, probably helped that the track had dried out a bit by then, not that the wet seems to bother me as much as some!
