    Shoya Tomizawa passes away

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

It didn't look good in the race. I had to go to bed so didn't watch the MotoGP race and then to wake up this morning to this news is very deflating indeed.
Pretty gutted for everyone concerned, esp family, Alex d'A and Scott R.

Can you please tell me if it's safe to read that without seeing the main MotoGP result? Haven't watched yet.

Are you able to paste in the relevant stuff here?

This is such a loss, Shoya was shaping up to be a real superstar. If you get the chance to watch any onboard footage of this guy racing you will see he was always the first person to get on the gas and he rode HARD. His persona off the bike seemed in contrast to his riding style - always smiling and waving, even if he had just been involved in a pile up!

Not a good week for motorcycling. RIP Shoya.

Cant believe they moved the riders so quick then dropped the stretcher!!

The report during the race was that all riders were fine then i hear about this thats terrible! They even did lots of replays cause they thought he was fine

Yes I agree I think that race should have been red flagged they moved Shoya to fast and dropped him, not a good look, Sadly I knew from watching that what the outcome was going to be I really feel for Scott at the momment as he will be taking it hard

There's an article on motogp.com regarding why they didn't flag the race.

    Regardless...tragic. RIP
