The 6 hour is back in a big way...

    ...in Oz.

    http://www.mcnews.com.au/NewsArchive...6Hour_plug.htm

At what is arguably the best race track in the world: Phillip Island, with $60k prize money. The event even has National Championship status.

Weekend of 3rd-5th of December, sounds fookin' great!

Great to see the 6 Hour returning to some of its former glory, the ran last year just before Oran Park was closed and Gareth Jones was part of the winning team from memory.

It would be nice if they could make it a true "Production" race.
Those Amaroo days were brilliant. G.

From the look of the regs there are going to be superbikes and production spec classes racing. As you say Gaz would've been nice if it was true production.

Good on the Aussie's for bringing back the 6hr and Phillip Island for hosting it, now all we need is to see it back here in NZ as it sure was a crowd pleaser for those Motorcycle Racing Enthuists who use to attend it when it was here years ago.

I would doubt it because of the amount of Rugby they put on all of the SkySport channels it doesn't leave any time or room for Motorcycle Racing which sucks Big Time.
It pisses me off when there is a Rugby channel there to show Rugby and yet you scan through the Sports Channels only to find Rugby, Rugby and more Rugby.
Why cant we have a Motorsport Channel????????????

I agree with the idea of a dedicated motorsports channel,I dont mind the Rugby, its all the bloody golf & tennis that gets up my nose

Keep an eye on Sky Barry. I caught the tail end of a Asbk meet the other day. They seem to put up some unusual stuff. The programme is called Shoei Kiwirider or some such ? Gaz.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Just a shame it is only on for 1/2 hr. And yes the ASBK Racing was very spectacular to watch.
