yep. Crouching down in the sportsbike hunch is easily the least suitable ergonomic for NZ road conditions.

    Speed Triple Sex Toy

Triumph Speed Triples are purely sex on wheels.... I will not be upgrading to the bigger one unless it falls through the skies in a gleaming bolt of bright light from the Heavens...... (possible) lol.
I simply love my 1050 k7, its a fabulous toy. Fun fun fun......... I would like a cruiser though as well for touring again.

Lower the bars and putting clip ons doesn't mean it's a supersports bike...... and not all of us have orangutan arms either, aye dude

Triumph would be better off investing in better suspension out the crate IMHO.... then again that would probably put the price up too much (then again - that would provide a price competitive naked compared to the R1s, GSXR1000, Z10Rs of this world....).

The last few Trumpets I've tested have had 3 x 2 way adjustable Showas. Pretty Good stuff.

I'm 85kgs geared up and find the suspension a little stiff.

Could be the bike is brand spankers and needs time for the suspension to loosen up.

I think the SE gets upgraded fork internals over the stock standard 1050 NJ2 model (2010).

At least you won't require a rear spring come upgrade time

Quite a few more details coming out speculating about the 2011 speed triple.

Pics leaked from triumphs own accesoriy website (shows new clocks, head-lights and other stuff in pics towards the bottom of the thread):
    http://www.street-triple.co.uk/index...;topicseen#new

Also speculation that it is sticking with the 1050 engine but making the bike lighter and more powerfull:

    Interesting reading.

Official launch date is next week (according to MCN).

Are the front springs progressives (same with rear shock spring - not at home so can't check). If so - would probably end up replacing them anyway with linear (since progressives seem to be frowned upon as a poor excuse for inferior damping control).

My dinner just bounced back up my throat when I opened this:

    http://hellforleathermagazine.com/20...er/#more-10509

I'm sure it can be improved with a fair amount of modding and a bunch of accessories but stock
