It was sad and at the same time funny...

English sure is a funny language....
I was driving home yesterday afternoon and listening to the news...
National radio was doing a live report on the poor workers at Kaiapoi New World losing thier jobs...
As the interview progressed from workers being upset etc and being made redundant, the host asked 'What will you do now"
She relplied...'Well, we are taking stock...'
Haha...I thought, good on ya! load up your trolleys and move on.....
Oh, isn't our language funny......We are taking stock and using the time to think, NOT stealing from a faithful employer....
On a side note, it looks as though the South is coming to the party and looking after those workers that have not only lost some of their houses but their jobs too as a result of the building being condemned.....Our thoughts are with ya!

Yup! I love the English language! I think at these times, most people are sympathetic!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
