Confirming these pootles will start next Tuesday.
Eugene and I are sorting out the routes on Sunday. Anyone wanting to help or offer constructive suggestions can wander in to my house for lunch.
Due to BRONZ committee committments, the ride on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month will be a Hutt Valley Urban Route, leaving Avalon Duckpond at 6 on the dot. It's possible they will finish at the Parrot and Jigger at the BRONZ meeting, or else someone apart from me will escort the groups back to the Duckpond while I do a slow, dignified dash to the meeting.

Will not be available for anything for a wee while, recovering from my off and no wheels either.

Anyone know of a cheap bike for sale ( depending on what the insurance do / give me ) ?

FZR1000 for $2000, needs a few small things like tyres, warrant, rego but not too much more than that, however i dont think the seating position will be very appropriate for ya.

Nice thought but looking for a tourer rather than a sports , another bandit would be nice but you never know.

ATGATT all the way! Way to go Paul. I can vouch for the pain and the kicker is that as we are officially OldFarts, it take ages to heal. ( as I can attest from the teeny off I had the other day.It was all Eugenes fault )

Paul..you sweet talker! Ive been eligible to be a member of Ulysses for most of a decade now! I have aged exceptionally well is all.
The off was very teeny..very very teeny. Broke his bikes brake lever tho..

As I said, once one reaches a certain age..it hurts like *bleeeeep* and takes a lot longer to get mobile than it used to. Bruises have been colourful if nothing else.

    Hey Ratbag...

Just a thought - last season we left the duckpond at 6.30pm. It seems there may be a few of us that work through until 6pm most weeks, and may not be able to make it there for a 6pm depature?

I will try my bestest for getting there on time next week, but it's a real battle getting out of here before 6pm.

I'm also tempted. Second the 6.30 leaving time though.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
