Newbie Restricted wanting to get back out on the bike

Haven't had much of a chance to get out on the bike since I have had my little one. Well shes 21 months old and I would love to join the Tuesday rides if thats possible. I am on my restricted licence but haven't clocked up that many kms on the bike. Still learning.
Looking forward to getting out and practice practice and practice.

Hey Kazza... You will love these rides! A perfect ride for learners and restricted licenses, with a wonderful bunch of people. They were the highlight of my summer last season as I was learning the ropes too, and I hope to try and make it to a few more this summer. You will be well looked after, promise.

Yes yes yes. Do come along. They are vey low key, low threat rides. Anyone who tries and do dumb stuff gets told off by Aunti Ratti...

We seen ya on tuesday Katie...standing by the side of the road. *giggle*

This weeks ride will take us around Upper Hutt. Byron is leading us through Blue Mountain road ( or there abouts ) and we will do the riverbank tracks for a bit of fun on a looser surface. I promise it is very easy. Take your time there is no hurry or pressure on less experienced riders. That's the point of these rides, you feel safe to experiment and learn a bit along the way.
Just quietly, the senior riders are getting as much out of it as anyone. A whole new way of riding when one is in charge, always something new to learn in motorcycling. No-one knows it all- EVER

Cool, I can make this Tuesdays ride. What time and where do we meet?

I haven't experienced riding on loose gravel so will be a first for me. Also not that keen on motorways if its windy...lol.. But I usually manage, just.
Looking forward to getting out and practice practice and practice.

    Hi Ratti,

I am going to try and make this weeks ride if at all possible. May try and drag my mate and son along again.

That a girl! It's the best way to learn and get used to it incase you get caught out in less than perfect weather one day. They will be nice and gentle on ya - promise

Have a lovely ride tonight - nice route too. Once again, can't make it sorry. Reckon I can change that in a few more weeks. Missing you crazy kids!

Nuthin wrong with the old cb's. One of my first bikes was an early 80's cb400n.

Great run this week. Excellent low K riders who rode where they were comfortable, asked questions and responded to different thoughts on riding styles. and they even found out they work in the same place! How cool is that?

Next weeks ride will be the Whitby loop. rain, hail or shine folks...as riders we have to take it all so might as well get the hang of it now.

Come on Katie...you are running out of excuses woman...
