Re the Superstock rules
g) Rear suspension damping units and springs
h) Front suspension, springs and damping parts, including, fork
caps, external compression and preload adjusters may be
modified or replaced, but the external appearance of the forks
must not be changed
WOW, this wording 100% allows for FULL internal modifications of STD forks, everything in the CARTRIDGE is a part of the damping.
I guess the world wide financuall trouble must be all over

Think thats the 1000 rules there wee fella.......scroll down a bit further for the 600 rules
Interesting that levers must be stock or a replica stock copy.......that rules out any shorties, pazzo etc.g) Front suspension springs and internal components,
(proprietary internal modifications are allowed to base and
mid valve shim stacks, pistons and adjuster needles) OEM
cartridges and cartridge rods must be used without
modification. External appearance must remain unchanged,
Full cartridge kits may not be used
p) brake and clutch levers but these must be replicas of the
OEM levers
Well looks like there will be an ohlins TTX rear for a zx6 for sale then.bugger, I'd only just the bike how I wanted it.
Just the email shown on the MNZ site....waiting for a reply for clarification on if the TITAX are allowed or not.
The rule does apply to the 1000cc Stock Class too though...it says so. I just want to see if they allow any aftermarket levers of normal length so to exclude shorties or if the rule is meant to exclude any other levers apart from those that look "identical" to stock. Personally I have little faith in these "stock copy" levers for very good reason...
The new Road Race rules have been released and will come to effect IMMEDIATELY.
This is from the MNZ site
