Long time reader, first post (XT660Z Tenere) (boarder)

    Hi,

I've been a long time reader here, never posted, but got good information just reading along.

I currently own a Yamaha XT 660 Z Tenere. Bought her in Germany and took her for a little round trip to see the Iran elections in 2009 (see OnTheRoad or ADVRider). Shipped her over here last year and did a few rides last summer before work commitments took me out of the country again.

    Cheers

Just dont mention the war (DR/KLR war, that is)

What is your ride report titled on ADVrider? (woops, just clicked on the link.)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Just finished reading the RR on ADVrider.

You've raised the bar a lot higher for RRs , Boarder - great reporting, fantastic pics (love the way you can get hi res by clicking on the pic) and super interesting places you visited.

Anyone who is a fan of Hillman Hunters should check out the Iraninan section of the report!

Certainly a different perspective of Iran to the one we normally get from the mainstream media.

    Thanks for posting that.

What a shame we are told such bigotted nonsense about all the places America is at war with. Iran seems to be a fascinating place, with a culture stretching back even further than Maori history. We live in a very sheltered corner of the world, which is a great thing, and a sad thing!
    Well done that man.
    lucky bastard
