    Valentino Rossi needs shoulder surgery

"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

    So do I.

I'll be out for the winter series next year, then the plan is to have a go at all rounds of the Nats in 2012.

A broken collar bone is a bit simple compared to a shoulder dislocation. Having done both mine now and awaiting surgury i can tell you their a bastard, particularly the instability in the shoulder remaining in position as you push/pull on shit, its not something you can just push through and tough out if its causing issues. The issue is you cant properly pull or push on the bars (depending on the dislocation orientatioN) and if you try to it will start tweaking nerves and muscles. Obviously Rossi has tweaked it a few times or in a nasty way as sometimes it goes for you like melandri at assen and sometimes it doesn't.
