Think your commute to work is hard?

    Shamelessly stolen from another forum.

You know how you always think, yeah I could do that. Even if it was riding a motogp bike around a track at pedestrian speed, given enough time getting the thing off the line, yeah I could do that. Well, I could never ever do what those cats are doing. I was getting vertigo just watching it. The end was pretty much it for me, standing on this tiny little platform 1768ft up.

Yah well, that's insane. Nice view. Someone's obvisiouly gotta to do it and I'm sure they get paid some big dollars. Do they base jump to get back down?, the climbing down would be boring.

I've jumped out of planes not much higher than that mast. Oh to have one of those things around here. Imagine just launching yourself off it on a nice day. Better than a bike.

Great launch point before the free-climbing stage.

No. The tools have to get back down somehow.

From the forum I got it from one of the posters reckoned his neighbour did this for a living, earns about US$120k. He's away for most of the year traveling from tower to tower.

You'd be pissed if you got to the top and realised you'd left your 5/8" ring spanner in the truck.

The bit that puts the shits up me is he casually unhooks his grapple and climbs on.

I'm fine with heights if I'm attached to them...he wasn't
