Just to be an ass - maybe he stopped whining and concentrated on racing instead.

maybe...or maybe he has had good reason to whine about things. He's a definite talent and it has been a long time between pole position for him this year...somethings surely changed. For a while when he did just "concentrate on racing" he pushed beyond the bike or himself could go and started falling off. Hardly confidence inspiring to go harder.

Nah.......he's just a knob who sulks when he doesn't get the glory

I'm hoping Pedrosa will take it, the boy's on fire, personality or not

You could be right there. For some reason, I just don't like the guy. Something about him just rubs me the wrong way. And it isn't that he is an Aussie.

I'm hoping Casey pulls it out of the bag for a change. My picks are:

    Stoner
    Lorenzo
    Pedrosa
    Rossi
    Spies

Actually I keep forgetting about Dovi. He may be in there somewhere also. He's so easy to forget....

That's odd. You dislike Stoner but like the sulkiest cunt in the field!

I hear you on that.... My brother lives in Aussie, and through an insurance provider he was luck enough to be seated very near to Stoner and his wife at a dinner.

It was 2 years ago, after the PI round when he had a few lingering injuries, and needed a massage .

Through the dinner his wife was arranging a massage for him, and he he kept saying "what's the last name" being Aussie and all, there is a large number of Asian immigrants who are massage therapists, and of course many names came back as Asian, to which he replied " na, don't trust 'em" until on the 5th or 6th one came back "smith" (or what ever) and he got her to book them......

Take it as you will, but to me the guy is racist, and it sealed my contempt for him - hey, a champ is a champ, and respect for all his skill, but this story, combined with his "Carl Foggarty big book of excuses" style of professionalism demote my respect of him.

I'm no Lorenzo fan either (could be if he grows up), but I go for Lorenzo over Stoner any day.

I'm actually rooting for Hayden today, and as such....

    Hayden
    Pedrossa
    Lorenzo
    Rossi

    Stoner DNF
I recon Next year will be the best year since they dumped smokers from the grid.

Best race for awhile, exciting opening lap then good racing for positions. Another ballsy effort by Bautista to get 8th with a gaggle of riders snapping at his heels.

Lorenzo looks to have lost his edge again just like when he looked certain of winning the 250 championships.

Ride of the day from Spies, he had no business holding that 5th place from Dovi but was just too stubborn!
