I would seriously consider laying a complaint about that. It wouldn't be hard to track the officers in question.

same was done to a mate of mine Mike a couple of months back, disco lights come on behind him southbound near Railway goods sheds Paekakariki, no where safe to stop, puts on left indicator to acknowledge and carries on toward safe stopping area at disused BP site. Cop car pulls up parallel with bike and then moves left and nudges Mike's right foot. In Mikes opinion this could have ended very bad to a less experienced rider. Carried on and pulled into the old BP site. Cop get out and immediately starts abusing him claiming he was trying to do a runner. It is time these arseholes using intimidating driving manner were made aware of the vulnerability of innocent motorcyclists before serious injury occurs.

just get name and number.. most phones have cameras on them.. take their photo also.. problem will stop real quick ..
