I have an oil filter for an R1 or R6 if somebody wants one. Save someone $20. I don't make it to the WNR very often but I can get it to someone who does. Let me know.

Ted was scrounging some of Chris's lunch (BK). Yes he did rather steal the limelight.

BK, Halswell, Gebbies, Round the Bays, Port, Evans, Summit Road, Gebbies, Wheatsheaf.

Always keen for taitap as the end point. rummie talking about riding too, be good to see bike out of the garage

just about died today , forked out $1000 dollars for a wof , rego and 10000km of ruc for the landcruiser.......and I thought running a bike was expensive

    FYI
The steve longley memorial "round the bays" is on this sunday waitangi day. Only found out today he died from a heart attack mid december 2010. And how we joked years ago when he started the annual bike run, 'Ya not dead yet steve' ...guess he gets the last laugh now lol.
Been out of contact and missed the last couple of runs, but always generally a good turn out of bears bikes and classic's (100++), leaves parkhouse tavern approx 11am and returns for bbq there late afternoon.
I'm attending this year, as I missed the old buggers funeral and his hot lap round ruapuna in the back of his old ute. One of lifes characters and supporter of bears racing.

Pootled round the bays today for some fresh air. A few of the tarmac patches that were filling in the earthquake potholes between Cass & Governors have mysteriously disappeared. Also a bit of loose stuff from aftershocks on some of the corners...

It had been awhile since I went on one of these. Had a good ride and great to catch up with everyone. The Bmw 650 I was on was alright but I don't think I would buy one. The seat was uncomfortable and they aren't that easy to stand up on.
