That earthquake has changed things,personally for some of us - and its put some of the ride destinations out of action for a while

We just have to get creative & find others,and this could work!

yesterday after 12 & 1/2 long weeks my Ducati came home and is looking & sounding damm sexy!

The Duvauchelles pub was boarded up and the damage to the top floor was looking pretty catastrophic. Pity because it was a great place to go, even for Harley's.

I'm with you, Akaroa is the top destination in Canterbury IMO.

Mite be able to turn up this week.

I'm up for trying out new places and find Akaroa expensive for what you get.

So will ride there and back to the Duvauchelle Store & Café for something to eat.

I'd be up for that! Wouldn't get much soaking time in tho

Its not that far past waikari in time compared to going to the greta... the Hurunui pub would be a good stop as well..

worst thing I was in Amberley most of Wednesday catching up with some people and stopped in at Waipara as well... if only I had waited longer...

Hanmer would be a good over night stop... some great roads up here
