Hey guys, Is there a cruise on the 22nd?
I'm pretty keen to come along and the wifes father said he'll dust of the old cx500 and take her for a spin. So just like to know what the destination will be this week?

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

There will be a ride, I'm sure of that. As for the destination, I'm not so sure. Just watch this thread... it will be spoken about soon enough. Either tomorrow or Tuesday is my guess.

Well I see Dave made it onto Peeteey's video last week. He was kind of hard to identify without all the flash editing, either that or he has a neon flashing sign sticking out his bottom.

Would like to make it this week, work (the curse of the working class) has been getting in the way of my wee Wednesday rides the last few weeks.

I'll be there with bells on. Do the rides ever take a break over the hols? Hope not! I'm keen to ride every Wed, regardless

As far as I can see, there's only one Wed I won't be able to make it to and that's the 9th of Feb! That's one too many I have to miss

As for spotting Dave in the video, bet you didn't know I was the creator of Where's Waldo?

    I'm pretty subtle ay?

    So this week!

Weather is looking okayish at this point, 3 day rainfall data looks promising for both north and south roads till about 10ish when it looks like cloud and rain will spill over the alps.

Do we want to do Peeteey's north flat straight route for a laugh?

Also as a reminder Hampton Honda have offered to put on chippies and fizzy after the ride, so we could re-enter christchurch via Yaldhurst road then just nick down to carmen road, it'd be about a 2 hour ride, few stops at important junctions.

    Thoughts?

That's a big ride, would people be interested in having chips and stuff after a ride like that?
I'm keen for anything but my vote would go towards a shorter ride, more time for hanging out, gasbagging and well-wishing afterwards ... but like I said, keen on anything!
