Do you want to ride in the rain? If it's raining then I don't think anyone will go, if it might be alright then some will turn up.

You know me GB I'm just a woose. When it comes rain to I use 4 wheels.

Hopefully the weather forcast is wrong. Will post closer to the time.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

As we headed up Dyers Pass on Sunday there was a cycle race on (http://www.elitenationals.co.nz/). They didn't have the roads fully closed off and were somehow allowing cyclists to battle down Hackthorne Rd at 80kph dodging between the cars which were potentially driving down there as well.

How much effort would it take to get some partially closed roads and do some real bike racing in the area? It would somehow be perceived as unsafe, it couldn't be any worse than what was happening on that hill though.

That chest-mounted view is rather good, although your comment at 1:59 is a touch disturbing.

I'm so jealous 'cause I will not be able to go. Got some work on, which I need, and the arms wouldn't hold up to it.
There are a couple of trail rides coming up, Scargill and Mt. Sommers. Will hopefully do one of those but I have a big gig in the middle of Feb, don't wanna risk the body too much before then

    Have fun you lucky buggers!
