Nice one DE. You did very well for your first out of town ride, especially since the last bit of the gravel road (Jubilee) is unsuitable for road bikes. Interesting to see how the strong wind managed to bend the power pole in your last shot...

Anyone in (or within walking distance from) the center of Christchurch have a bike I can borrow for an hour or so tomorrow afternoon? I want to shoot over to my parents house but have no transportation because of this bloody quake business crap.

I've got a bike you could borrow, but I'm out in Sockburn.
If you don't get any other closer offers, I could always come pick you up in my car.

Thanks for the offers guys. If nothing comes up I'll possibly take you up on your offer kp as your closer to uni and I have to be over that way at some stage tomorrow.

I appreciate your offer Buyasta, but Sockburn is just a tad far away.

So are we still going for a ride tomorrow?

Things have been getting steadily worse since about lunchtime saturday, so I really really could do with getting out for a ride.
