That's good to hear as it means you're also well. How'd you fare over the other side?
We had lots of broken windows so we're covered in tarpaulins at the moment but alive and well.
The power came back on today and the cat came back inside and is now either next to the heater or on her chair. That's the bit that makes me really happy as it's raining and cold outside.

This has been a great time to run out of credit on the mobile!

Im OK, no damage at all where I am, being an ex military residence, it was built a bit stronger than the normal govt building.
Has anyone heard from HOT ?
Her house was not very sound after the last shock.......and she has just taken delivery of her new ride, I hope her garage is still intact

Oh, did you guys actually ride tonight? Would have been a tad cold and wet ... I went into town on the DR which was a good call. I had to go over the Bridle path as the tunnel and Sumner were closed!

Glad to hear you're ok, good point about HOT's house! Hope she's ok and once we're able to establish that, hope the new bike is still upright!

My three were fine thankfully as the Kat is the expensive one to repair but is not insured. But they were all upright patiently waiting for me when I looked in the garage!
    Whew said I.

Glad to hear you regulars are ok. My bike was in at Hampton Honda getting its 12k service when it happened. They had no bikes damaged which was lucky. No problems out here at Oxford, except no fuel left at all!
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

We are in Oxford too and no damage to report other than a few broken ornaments...and a bit of superficial outside stuff...house moved alot more than in September even thuogh we are on a rock in the hills... I can only imagine how you in closer to the epicentre were feeling. My cousin was standing holding a concrete piller in the building opposite the Pine guild guiness building as he watched it collasp, he said he has never been so scared in his whole life ..luckily they got out and he bolted for home on foot as his car was in a hole. I know there are a lot of people without power who won't read this but we not so affected are doing as much as we can to help those who are. Peetey call your phone provider using their free calling line and tell them you want your mobile on one bill for now due to the quake, that way you can make calls or txt and sort it out later.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.

Hots's house is quite a mess......very uneven throughout ...maybe to the point of having to be pulled down at some stage??
Helpers have been there refitting the HWCylinder and cleaning up the silt & flooding which is all through the property and garage.
The bikes in garage all fell over and suffered some damage. mainly to the CBR 250 with plastics damage..the new Tuono has some light damage but is not too bad.
Sam is fine as is everyone else that she has heard from.
She was still at home cleaning yesterday.

Hey all, only just got power back on, still no water. We're in Huntsbury and the hill / St Martins is devastated this time. Had a major clean-up, only minor damage to the house and our one bike (mine) fell and slightly damaged. Otherwise we're all fine. Hope everyone's ok - if anyone needs anything please don't hesitate to contact me. We're here to help each other.

You guys be careful out there. The roads are rather damaged!!!!

Did anyone go for a ride on Wednesday, if so where please????

I hope to see you all next WNR.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!
