    Rotor damage

    Got a slight dink and light score on my rotor probably from a previous off.....no genny damage bu will it affect the genny output?

    Unless you see a substantial amount of material removed from the rotor or if it's bent or cracked by the contact I really don't think you will have a problem with the charge rate. I have, however, been known to be wrong before (July 18th 1987 if I remember correctly).

    Cheers Rob,its not so bad and does not seem to be contacting the alternator at all si I will get a new alternator....cheers again
