    The way the rules read you cannot use wets UNTIL the race / practice is declared wet. Last Nats a rider was warned and nearly lost his points for being out in a race on wets WITHOUT the required "wet declaration" It makes it tough when no time frame is given for this declaration wet / not wet immediately prior to race

    I think you will find that going out on wets irrespective of the weather is just a mainland thing, cos you know if its not raining right there & then then its about to............ :-)
    Not one to brag after Round 5 of Vic though aye !

    30 minutes from memory to allow riders time to change.

    Rules can be changed based on a SAFETY issue only! and you are correct re the wording, it is bollocks to have to weight for some one to say, O, it;s wet, so this IS a safety issue.

    Follow this rule up with Paul Stewart and ask him who can re word this officualy, and let us know the out come.

    My replies have been based on the Production 600 rules of last year, NOT the Supersport rules.
