Where do you buy your cellphone?

My ancient Nokia has broken, and I am going to replace it. Are there any stores that are particularly good (or bad!)? I want a basic phone. I don't need fm radio, camera, wireless, bluetooth, navigation, etc. Just a phone. I'm on a Vodafone plan.

Do you think I can get something for under $100 new these days?

    Any thoughts & opinions appreciated

They sell a bunch of brands and you can look at 2G, 3G etc.

Make sure you buy one where you have a decent warranty. With the questionable quality of phones these days, make sure you keep the receipt!

I was on the brink of buying a $60 phone from vodafone when I saw your post. Hmmmm...had the account for 10 years at least, so I may as well try your way.

Thanks again to all of you for your help. I have sent you all bling-things.

When I started this thread I was thinking of retail stores, but as I am over an hour from the nearest small town, all these links have been great. I went with vodafone because I already deal with the company, and felt secure. It was great to see the parallel inport site, however, as I wasn't aware of it. The pricespy compare site was another goodie I hadn't seen.

I hope you all have great days, and thanks once more for sharing your ideas and information to help me out
