    CV50 headlight bulb replacement

    OK smarter-than-I people, how much shit am I going to have to pull off the scoot to get at the bulb? (low beam dead). The manual helpfully says take it to the dealer
    Watch out for tow ropes and quickly braking cars

    Thanks Spearfish, that plastics one looks quite handy. Do you have the whole service manual do you?

    Yar.
    Its 10megs though.

    Before you start hacking into the job, set the scoot up and shine the headlight against the wall and mark the centre of the light beam so you can adjust it to the same aim point later. Believe it or not resetting the headlight aim point is the only reason the manual recommends the dealer change your bulb.
