    Last minute entrys is a tradition in bike racing but can we at least have an indication of who intends to race please. Fully aware of the 'got to wait until pay day to enter' thing.

    As of last night the only confirmed grid was for sidecars!!!

    We are also looking to increase our flag marshal numbers so if one of your entourage is willing and able to help please let us know, we will even feed them and put a little something in there pocket for their efforts.

    Is there any where we can see the confrimed entries?

    I am planing on entering in superbikes but unfortunitly i'm in a financle problem at the moment and the only way i can enter is if i get my refund though from round 5 of the winter series which was cancelled but if that doesn't come though in time then there will be no riding for me, and i know of at least two others that are in the same boat.

    Not at the moment, the programme will go to press at the close of entry date 14/10/10.

    Would be nice to have some names to put in it

    Ok. I'm intending to race in posties but I'll wait until after this weekend's race to see if my bike and I are still intact.

    The race programme is going to be impressive with Motards and F4 etc included

    Take the opportunity and book into this series kicking of on the 17th October, bring the family. If you haven’t been to HD for a while things have improved.

    For spectators
    There is an undercover area with views from the first to second corner and areas of seating in other strategic parts of the circuit. There is any number of excellent viewing areas around the circuit so take you camera.

    For racers
    The opportunity to race on the countries newest circuit at club level and considered one of the most technical.
    Probably not for the first round but hopefully for the 3rd (5th December) there should be garaging and power available. TBC

    Check the AMCC web site for further details and entry form.

    To reply to several questions;

    To clarify the process of race entry and club membership as it has been explained to me and as I understand it;

    All race entries when recieved are replied to by email confirming receipt.

    All membership applications made are replied to by sending out a membership card.

    The club staff that are resposible for this are really efficiant so if you have applied and not heard back please check that it has;

    a, been sent to the correct fax No - 09 579-3106
    b, been sent to the correct email address - secretary@amcc.org.nz
    c, been posted to the correct mailing address - P.O. Box 11-129, Ellerslie, Auckland, New Zealand
    d, that it has your email or postal address included.

    If you have any doubts about any of the above please contact the person resposible ie club Secretary, Treasurer or Membership Secretary, their contact details are on the web site http://www.amcc.org.nz/home.
    All race entries would be advised to go to the Treasurer for the quickest response.

    Thanks to all that have replied and look forward to racing with you on the 17th

    Cheers KG

    Would be good to see you out on track again ! AMCC normally run an Open Twin class rather than the 650cc limited ProTwins National class. I'm fairly sure Choppa is entered on the HP2 so you should be OK. However best you contact someone on the Road Race Committee (www.amcc.co.nz) .

    Hey is anyone heading up for R1 from Taranaki? I'm keen to try and see if I can share a ride with someone to keep costs down. Happily pay my way obviously. Going to be nice and rainy. Cheers.

    Oh, I might strap the TDM onto the trailer then

    I can't understand all the whiners bitching about the cost. It's $150 FFS. Unless you're on a bucket racer then the extra peso's pale into insignificance compared to fuel and tyres.
    It's a top class track and well worth the extra $50 (?) over that $hithole that is Pukekohe.
    NZPCRA are charging $150 to race at Taupo.
