Just thought I would stick this up

I have been looking for an alternative to math cad for a while , and stumbled upon

smath, just been trying it out today and it seems to do everything I need it to do

works the same as mathscad , not as polished but ok

As much as I like Linux, I still can't figure out how to install software on it without the Ubuntu software centre.

sudo apt-get install software location /software name

or drag the bin file ( found inside the folder ) into a terminal and follow directions ,,,

or synaptic , which i like better than the software centre ala lindows
