We were still at School, but Gaz had a very clean HG Holden and we drove in.
Saints were so crap the game is league folk lore and were flogged 38 - blot by a dominant Easts outfit. Then the Brisbane and Storm fiascoes.
On my fourth now - I might come good by Tuesesday.

Was that the "St George can't play" embarrassment? I was more of an Illawarra fan then, had to move with them to be a St George follower instead.
I remember vividly the Storm final, penalty try my arse, we was robbed.

Yeah - Bennett's 'fabrications' were part of it - mainly that they just got flogged.
