Pirelli Sport Demons seem to be about the best thing avail in those sizes mate.

+1 on the Sport Demons, grip well on my race LC and then I use them on the road LC or T20 race bike.

You could do the same with the MVX, I think thay are the same 16 front and 18 rear

If it gets your reccomendation it's good enough for me mate.

MVX has been pushed to the back burner (again!) unfortunately but once the GSX is all legal beagle I'll rip back into it.

Bridgestone BT45 would be the other option, I used them on the LC and only ever once provoked them into letting go and that included dealing to GS1000,GSX750 and the like in the pissing down rain at Teretonga

Yep, we've used both on the 400's and they're sweet as. IMO the sport demon lasts longer...
